Bids are hereby invited to quote for the provision of Microsoft 365 External data backup solution with unlimited storage for 1 110 user accounts for a period of twelve (12) months for the the Client. Scope: The solution must meet the following data backup capabilities: - Data Cloud Backup as a Service (BaaS); - Automated cloud backup and restore processes; - Ability to back up data from Exchange Online, OneDrive for Business, SharePoint and Teams, including all documents and libraries; - Granular recovery and restore options for Microsoft Office components (SharePoint, OneDrive for Business and Teams data); - Individual and bulk restores and recovery of Exchange Online mailboxes; - Must be scalable with unlimited storage; - Must have 12 month retention period with the option to extend at the end of the period; - Must be able to store files and email after licences are re-assigned; - Utilizes Microsoft Teams APIs to provide a purpose-built backup, enabling full control and protection over this critical data; - Quick search and granular recovery of individual objects or specific data residing in a protected copy of your Microsoft 365 backup; - Solution must have Enhanced Immutability - Once data is backed up, it cannot be altered, tampered with, or deleted by users, including administrators or bad actors. Extra layer of security for peace of mind; - Data encryption and security measures must be in place; - The appointed service provider shall preserve copies of the Department Microsoft Office 365 data from which data can be recovered in the event of accidental deletion or data loss. The service provider shall store copies of the Department Microsoft Office 365 data in different locations from the primary DPW Microsoft Office 365; - The Microsoft 365 data that the appointed service provider processes on the Departments behalf must be stored and processed in South Africa; - Provide security features to protect data from security threats and attackers and to ensure that only DPW has access to the data and that the provider or any third party can"t read the data; - Backup restores must be tested monthly to ensure the integrity of the backups made - Solution must be maintained; - Backed by global security certifications.
