Scope: • Clearing of Invasive Alien Plants; • Waste clearance which includes litter picking, clearance of illegal dumping hot spots on the riverbanks and streams; • Clearing of vegetation blocking drainage system and sanitation infrastructure in identified areas; • Conservation of biodiversity in the river riparian zone; • Identify plant species and inform the municipality prior clearing species that are protected in terms of the National Environmental Management Biodiversity Act 10 of 2004 and relevant regulations.
