Bids are hereby invited for the following: Procurement of an organization to provide services of a caregiver for children with Cerebral Palsy. Scope: The Caregiver is required from June 1 June 2023 until 30 May 2024: Attend to all of the child’s daily activities of living and needs, including: • Dressing; • Bathing; • Dental care; • Grooming; • Feeding (including management of PEG tube); and • Changing nappies; • Administer daily home-based programmes as advised by therapists including providing consistent sensory input and stimulation; • Incorporate basic therapeutic interventions into daily activities of living; • Turn him at night (typically every two hours) while he is sleeping to prevent pressure sores; • Apply splints and orthotics as prescribed; • Administer medications as prescribed; • Administer a posture-management routine as advised by therapists. • Accompany him to medical appointments and therapy sessions and communicate any treatment plans to other caregivers.
