Quotations are hereby invited for the appointment of a service provider to implement Mathematics and Physical Science Interventions for Department of Public Works and Infrastructure Winter School Camp from 08-15 July 2023. Prepare and Deliver Mathematics and Physical Science Learner Interventions: Activities: • Compile Mathematics and Physical Science pre-tests aligned to problem areas; • Conduct pre-tests for Mathematics and Physical Science learners on first day of the Camp; • Mark tests and analyse results; • Compile pre-test report; • Prepare Mathematics and Physical Science Interventions for the duration of the camp; • Implement interventions; • Compile Mathematics and Physical Science post-tests; • Conduct post-tests for Mathematics and Physical Science learners; • Mark tests and analyse results; • Compile pre-test report; • Develop a project implementation plan; • Develop Camp Time Table; • Provide copies of question papers; • Provide answer sheets; • Conduct Programme Evaluation; • Compile and provide Overall Intervention Report and deliver after a week post the Camp. Learner Composition: The Camp will comprise of Grade 10-12 Learners: • Grade 10 = 55; • Grade 11 = 55; • Grade 12 = 60; • Total: 170. Number of tutors: • The appointed service provider should make available Mathematics and Physical Science tutors for each Grade. Duration of Intervention: • Day 1 = 4 hours Pre Test; • Day 2 = 6 hours Intervention; • Day 3 = 6 hours Intervention; • Day 4 = 6 hours Intervention; • Day 5 = 6 hours Intervention; • Day 6 = 4 hours Post Test and feedback.
