Quotations are hereby invited for the following: Network cabling for IEC Ekurhuleni Metro - Nigel MEO Office. Specifications: The Electoral Commission in Nigel is relocating to new premises and seeks a service provider to supply and fully install networking infrastructure: 1. Each office should be fitted with a minimum of 2 x points; 2. New cabling needs to be installed and terminated in the server room using conduits and trays on the roof; 3. All backend cabling must be installed with CAT5; 4. All fly leads need to be CAT5 flexible to the user, grey in colour; 5. Cabling looms should not exceed 12 cables per loom and should be run on the appropriate cable highways and not cross any electrical cabling or florescent housings to prevent EMI (Electro Magnetic Interference); 6. Each office is to be fitted with 4-way CAT 5 Faceplate with inserts or 2 x RJ45 Dual Keystone Wall Plate and Keystone Inserts Insert total of 4 RJ45 Connections point for data one spare for future expansions should the need arise; 7. The two (2) data points must be distinctively marked and labelled which coordinates with the terminations block panel and as such marked in standard black lettering; 8.
