Suitable and capable service providers are invited to bid for Public Transport Service Designs in various District. Scope: The scope of work is as follows: Relevant experience in: • Review the operated existing routes with the aim to eliminate inefficiencies; • Measure the distances of the reviewed routes (kilometres); • Identify and measure the distances of the new routes (kilometres); • Conduct passenger census; • Identify and specify the appropriate type of vehicle (s) to be used in that routes in terms of capacity e.g bus mid-bus or minibus (compiling fleet structure details); • Develop a detailed route description; • Detailed map source plotting every route, stations, kilometres, etc to be operated; • Gather passenger information; • Compile timetable; • Create a financial model; • Costing of services; • Establishment of the frequencies to be operated including aspects on specific routes and finalising of proposed timetables; • Conduct a high- level user economic demographic analysis; • Develop a detailed fare structure; • Compile subsidised service specifications; • Facilitate stakeholder engagement; • Determine service management systems and fare management systems; • Develop subsidised Service performance management and monitoring tool; • Capture information into the Public Transport Monitoring System.
