Quotations are hereby invited for the following: Appointment of professional civil engineering consultant, with flood hydrology expertise, as Principal Agent and Quantity Surveying Services at iThemba LABS Cape Town for Design of a Solution for Stormwater Discharge. The objective of this RFQ is to enlist the services of professional civil engineering consultant with flood hydrology expertise / specialisation as principal agent for the inception, concept and viability, design development and documentation, procurement, contract administration and close-out of all civil and structural works required for implementation of a stormwater discharge solution for iThemba LABS Cape Town site. The works entails the construction of stormwater discharge infrastructure, trenching, piping and ensuring connection into the municipal stormwater servitude adjacent to the iThemba LABS Cape Town site along its western boundary. The Consultant shall model and design the stormwater discharge solution/s to be compliant with the local municipal bylaws and ensure the implemented solution is fully compliant with all applicable legislation.
