Quotations are hereby invited for the provision of professional architectural, engineering, quantity surveying, health and safety services for the expansion of the BIDVest business Lounge, General Departure Area and refurbishment of departure area at King Phalo airport in East London. Scope of Work: King Phalo airport management would like to expand one of the business lounges by increasing its floor space. The airport management would also want to expand the general departure area by adding more floor space and provide a face lift to the departure area. The architectural and engineering consultants will be required provide their service to enable the works to be completed successfully. The team will consist of the following: - Architect who will be responsible for the contract administration during construction; - Electrical Engineer (Professional Engineer/Technologist) who will be responsible all electrical reticulation requirement in the project; - Mechanical Engineer (Professional Engineer/Technologist) who will be responsible for all heating, ventilation and air-conditioning requirements in the project; - Civil Engineering (Professional Engineer/Technologist) who will be responsible for all load bearing of structures and wet services requirements in the project; - Health and Safety Professional who will be responsible for all health and safety requirements in the project; - Quantity surveyor professional who will be responsible for all cost related requirements before, during, construction and at close out of the project.
