Proposals are hereby invited for the following: Provision of valuation service for land and building as well as plant, equipment and machinery on all CSIR sites. Scope: The detailed scope of work, incorporating the tasks and responsibilities of the potential Service Provider(s) (hereinafter, the Service Provider), required by the CSIR for valuation services to be rendered on the specified sites of the CSIR. The successful service provider(s) shall focus on the provision of valuation services in accordance with the applicable legislative prescripts. Without limiting the generality of the foregoing, the appointee will be responsible for valuation of Property, Plant and equipment for the following purposes: • Determine the total value of the movable assets; • Determine immovable property value for all CSIR sites; • CSIR assets – replacement costs; • Impairment; • Financial reporting in line with the acceptable accounting standards; • Rental determinations; • Leases; • Purchase and sale of properties; • Mortgages; • Assessments rates; • Expropriation; • Servitudes; • Investments; • Property development.
